December 7, 2007: CRJP condemns WWF-UK 'Deeper Luxury' report. In the past few days you may have seen media reports about a recent report published by WWF-UK entitled 'Deeper Luxury' (The report is available here)
The report is of very poor quality and reflects just as badly on its authors and its publisher, WWF-UK, as it does albeit totally undeservedly – on a number of CRJP members who have been grossly maligned without cause in the report.
The letter below was sent to Mr David Nussbaum, the CEO of WWF-UK, with copies sent to a number of other senior WWF staff. The letter serves to formally register CRJP's concerns with the WWF-UK report 'Deeper Luxury.'
The letter is being circulated to CRJP's other NGO partners and the media, so as to have CRJP's strong objections to this report placed on the public record.
