Become part of our community
RJC Membership connects you to a powerful and growing community of brands, suppliers, and companies around the world. Members come together to create a more sustainable and responsible watch and jewellery industry and access learning opportunities, tools, relevant data, insight reports, industry networks, and more.
Membership is available to organisations, small and large, and from within and outside of the watch and jewellery supply chain. Anyone is welcome, so long as they share our commitment to creating a responsible worldwide supply chain that promotes trust in our industry.
There are three membership options available – commercial, association and supporter. Whichever membership route you choose, we’ll be here to support you every step of the way.
RJC membership is more than just a pathway to sustainable growth. It gives Members a voice and the ability to shape the future of our industry through their actions.
Join RJC as a Commercial Member
Suitable for an enterprise actively involved for commercial reasons in the diamond, coloured gemstones (rubies, sapphires and emeralds) gold, silver and/or platinum group metals jewellery and watch supply chain.
Commit, at an Executive level, to support the mission of the RJC and achieve RJC Certification within two years of joining.
We aim: ‘To advance responsible ethical, social and environmental practices, which respect human rights, throughout the diamond, coloured gemstones (rubies, sapphires and emeralds), gold, silver and/or platinum group metals, jewellery and watch supply chain, from mine to retail.’
A key principle of the RJC is to be inclusive. We encourage organisations of all sizes throughout the global jewellery supply chain to apply for membership. Check your eligibility and understand the different membership fees before you apply. Details are available in the RJC Commercial Membership Application Guidance document.
Send an application request to the Applications Team using the link below. The Applications Team will send you an invite to register on the RJC’s portal, where you can complete your membership application. Our team will contact you to start due diligence checks and discuss your application with you.
Please note: membership fees are only invoiced once your application has been approved.
Congratulations!
You are now an RJC Commercial Member. You will receive guidance on how to communicate about your membership and be automatically listed in the RJC Member Register – a publicly searchable list of all current members of the RJC and their certification status.
It is important to note only Certified Members can use the RJC logo in their communications.
Join RJC as an Association Member
Suitable for a trade association with members that are actively involved in the diamond, coloured gemstones, gold, silver and/or platinum group metals jewellery supply chain.
Commit, at an Executive level, to support the mission of the RJC and actively encourage association members to join the RJC. While Association Members are not required to achieve RJC Certification, your members who join are. To understand what will be required of your members, please familiarise yourself with RJC Certification requirements.
We aim: ‘To advance responsible ethical, social and environmental practices, which respect human rights, throughout the diamond, coloured gemstones (rubies, sapphires and emeralds), gold, silver and/or platinum group metals jewellery and watch supply chain, from mine to retail.’
RJC Association Members are critical to create a responsible worldwide supply chain that promotes trust in the watch and jewellery industry. We look to build transformative partnerships with associations of all sizes throughout the entire supply chain.
In addition to your commitment to the RJC Mission and growing RJC membership, Association Members are also required to:
- Educate your members about the ethical, social, human rights and environmental challenges that are faced by the diamond, coloured gemstones (rubies, sapphires and emeralds), gold, silver and platinum group metals jewellery and watch industry.
- Comply with RJC Antitrust Policy and Rules.
- Respect and protect the intellectual property of the RJC including correct logo usage by members.

Join RJC as a Supporter
This is for organisations outside of the jewellery and watch industry that want to support RJC’s work through financial and/or in-kind support.
Commit, at an Executive level, to support the objectives of the RJC and promote responsible practices in the jewellery supply chain.
RJC Goals: ‘To advance responsible ethical, social and environmental practices, which respect human rights, throughout the diamond, coloured gemstones (rubies, sapphires and emeralds), gold, silver and/or platinum group metals jewellery and watch supply chain, from mine to retail.’
RJC Supporter Members display significant influence over the global jewellery and watch supply chain, even though they themselves operate outside of it. Members in this category seek to contribute to RJC’s mission through financial and/or in-kind support.
We are particularly interested to hear from financial institutions, media and trade fairs who raise awareness and advocate responsible jewellery throughout the entire supply chain. Organisations that do not meet the requirements for commercial or association membership may apply for RJC Supporter Membership.
Please note: we do not accept applications from consultants, advisors, third-party auditors, or similar. If you are in any doubt about your eligibility, please contact our Membership and Engagement Team.
Your support is invaluable to create a responsible worldwide supply chain that promotes trust in the jewellery and watch industry. Please email your contact details and a brief overview of your intended support to our Membership and Engagement Team. We look forward to hearing from you.
