RJC independent auditors are essential to creating a responsible supply chain. You will ensure the credibility of RJC certification programmes and provide RJC members with independent insight and expertise. Full details of our accreditation standards can be found in our RJC Auditor Accreditation Criteria (RJC Process and Criteria for the Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies and Auditors).
Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis. We are particularly keen to hear from audit firms with RJC member clients and specialist expertise (i.e. mining) and/ or locations that are under-represented. Individual auditors with the firm then need to satisfy RJC auditor training requirements to be able to conduct RJC certification audits.
RJC is the global membership and standards body for responsible jewellery throughout the entire supply chain – from mine to retail. Our ‘Code of Practice’ references key development frameworks, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO Principles and UN Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
