What drove your company to join the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)?
Accur8 Diamonds joined the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) as part of our commitment to ethical and sustainable growth. Every company today strives to have a solid social and environmental policy, and during the process of creating our internal guidelines, we realised that the RJC had already developed a comprehensive Code of Practices covering all social, ethical, and environmental aspects. These guidelines were closely aligned with our vision, making the decision to join seamless. Additionally, the RJC remains at the forefront of adapting to new industry landscapes, ensuring we continue to lead responsibly and transparently as our business grows.
Tell us how Accur8 Diamonds was created?
My brother, Aagam, and myself co-founded Accur8 Diamonds. As second-generation diamantaires, we were exposed to the entire diamond value chain and wanted to create something that went beyond just the product. At Accur8 Diamonds, our goal was to establish the most robust and lean, yet exceptional quality manufacturing operations. We also aimed to produce the most meticulously crafted diamonds. By focusing on precision, innovation, and integrity, we’ve been able to build a brand that stands out for its commitment to both craftsmanship and ethical business practices.
How do you implement responsible business practices into your daily operations?
At Accur8 Diamonds, sustainability and ethical sourcing are core to our business. We partner only with suppliers who meet rigorous environmental and labor standards.
We use up to 80% solar energy from our onsite solar plant to power our cutting and polishing operations, significantly lowering our carbon footprint. Additionally, we rely on solar-powered electric vehicles (EVs) for the movement of goods and team members, further reducing emissions.
To ensure full transparency, we’ve developed in-house software that tracks the traceability of each diamond, providing clients with insight into every stage of production. This approach reflects our dedication to sustainability and responsible practices throughout our entire supply chain.

Not only do we focus on crafting high-quality diamonds but we also ensure that every stone is ethically sourced and meets the highest standards. We also source diamonds directly from miners, minimising middlemen and ensuring traceability and ethical standards throughout the supply chain. This direct sourcing gives us better control and allows us to offer greater value to our customers.
In addition to this, we maximise the full potential of each diamond. We focus on quality over quantity, and there have been instances where we worked on a single diamond for over a year to realise its true brilliance. This boutique approach allows us to stay agile and adapt to changing market conditions while delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
I personally oversee our operations to ensure integrity at every level, building trust and long-term relationships with clients. Our focus on both superior craftsmanship and strong ethical practices truly sets us apart.

The most exciting part of working in the jewellery industry is the blend of creativity and craftsmanship, where we create pieces that are both beautiful and meaningful. For my brother and me, as second-generation entrepreneurs, it’s thrilling to bring new-age ideas to this traditional industry. At Accur8 Diamonds, every diamond tells a story, and crafting pieces that reflect individuality while upholding ethical standards is a rewarding challenge. It’s also an incredible feeling knowing that we make something so precious to our consumers, creating pieces that hold deep sentimental value.
